Why become active in the workshop?

Be active with us for a just, nonviolent world.

For 40 years we have been supporting social movements in their struggles. This knowledge, these experiences and these structures are there – and it needs people who use them and carry them on in their way.

If you get active at the workshop, you're not alone. We'll help you...

• 🌻 Find groups your offers and trainings,

• 🛠️ organization and administration, spaces and materials are available,

• 🤑 you do not have to bear costs for trips, spaces or materials yourself and if necessary to receive fees,
• 🥳 we learn from each other, for example in exchange rooms, hospitations and exams, in which we develop our content,
• ✳️ for projects the appropriate framework is available, for example by submitting applications via the association, collecting donations or using the network.

What do I have to do?

The workshop lives on the fact that people are involved – within their own possibilities and without rigid compelling pressure. For example, by supporting...

• 📣 the visualization of the workshop and our offers,
• 🛠️ joint training, e.g. through rounds of talks, self-organized training or work groups,
• 💰 the financial framework by flowing back parts of the fees to the workshop,
• 🧩 the structural foundation, e.g. by membership in the association or active participation.

Do I fit?

You've already given training, counseling groups or attending training at the workshop?

Super, then you have the perfect basis! Together we can try to provide you with a good (structural, common or financial) framework for your work.

You have little or no experience in training?

Anyone who is active in social movements, sooner or later collects valuable knowledge and experiences that it is worth sharing. Often it only needs the appropriate framework and methods for this.

It can in any case be helpful to have visited a trainee-the-trainer format or a qualification of the workshop (e.g. CampaPeace) or similar organisations (e.g. Skills for Action).
