Practical tools
How-To: Security culture
"Are all mobile phones from the room?", "Do we want to invite to the meeting publicly?", "Sick mal ne encrypted mail" and "Does it make sense to mummy?" – so far no good answer has been found for you?
This workshop focuses on security culture: How we can protect our groups and actions – digital, organizational and personal.
No question is too banal, no concern too small. We'll see what's important to you.
How-To: Plenary short and crunchy
Endless discussions, unclear decisions, frustrating task sharing – that doesn't have to be.
We share methods to make Plena clearer, more binding and more solid. This is not about efficiency at any price, but about the fact that discussions are moving again.
How-To: Write speeches
A good speech can reach a lot – in reality, however, it fails too quickly from missing people, to complicated texts or simply the excitement!
We look at what makes speeches strong, how writing works for speaking and how we can deal with excitement. To make our voices heard loud and clear.
How-To: Perform conflicts without violence
Conflicts belong to any group. It is crucial how we deal with it.
In this workshop we practice different methods and create a solid theoretical foundation for non-violent interaction.
How-To: Consensus decision making
Making decisions in groups is always complicated, especially if nobody is to be passed or overcrowded.
Together, we look at how we create decision-making processes with consensus that all take along. We reflect on privileges and how we can learn how we can decide in large groups or narrow periods.

What really does nonviolent action – and why?
We deal with the theory and practice of nonviolent actions, strategies, escalation levels and personal motivations.
Current & Historical Fights
Non-violence against Hitler
It is often said that only violence is helping against dictatorships. The story shows: that's not true.
Under the Nazi rule and in many other authoritarian regimes, people with non-violent resistance have saved lives and brought about systems.
This workshop looks at these experiences – not as heroic stories, but as inspiration for today's struggles.
