If we don't change anything, nothing changes: Let's take things (again) in our hands
This book is made climate-friendly and remains unpacked
"Can be better": That's what's happening in the world. Whether it is the results of polls, the elections themselves or the latest climate reports – it is only certain that everything has become somehow insecure. So basically walked already? Not: Now it's just right important to get into action. Because to be heard, we have to be loud. (Common) protest can help we feel strong and less alone – and that lets us continue.
We need action approaches – not yet a problem analysis
Fact is: The concern for climate, legal jerk in society etc. is more than justified. But if we focus only on it, the impression quickly arises that we need to solve all problems on our own. Just as important as the problem consciousness is therefore also the confidence that something can move. Sara Fromm, instead of the many global crises itself, is pushing Opportunities for crisis management in focus: How can we civil disobedience practice, connect us, our own role and be solid? And: What can we learn from social movements from the past? Finally, there are many examples of organised protests, which have actively promoted a positive change, including the U.S. civil rights movement, the suffrage or also Ni una menos and the ProChoice movement in Argentina.
Courage to confidence – and to real utopias
Things always change. To make sure they change for good, we must be brave enough to introduce us a completely different reality. At the same time, Sara Fromm also highlights the fact that change costs energy, and goes into the question, how we can burn without burning: What individual and collective strategies are there to stay on and at the same time with yourself? What are possible stumbling traps, from lack of flawability to technical hurdles? Equipped with this knowledge we can resilience and develop realistic expectations, act self-reflected and are ready to pack it at the latest after the last page – in exactly the way that is possible for us.

- Get out of the shock star: What if we do not retreat in the face of the many crises around the world, but rather organize ourselves and take the path of self- empowerment? He may not lie immediately straight and perfect in front of us, but: Going away feels better than fainting. Let us think very specifically how we want to live in the future – and how we can actively overcome crises.

- Courageous action:
