Practical tools – Digital Organizing: We can use mass emails?
We look at the basics of digital organization – so how we can build a stronger power base with digital tools. The focus is on mass mails: they often work handy and according to classic NGO tools, but can also be used effectively within movements. We are talking about central principles, possible tools and strategic approaches.
Nils (er/ihn) is a freelancer in the workshop. It mainly originates from the climate justice movement and has built the End Cement campaign.

Strategy & Tactics – Basics Campaign PlanningWe need campaigns. Actions and demonstrations alone do not help. The social-ecological transformation of society, but also the resistance to right-wing extremism and militarization, requires continuous drone. What are the basic regulations to build successful campaigns?
Regional campaign, pressure campaigns and flash campaigns – have a common pattern. Practical tools – How-To visual action design: How do I make our actions beautiful and insurmountable?
This workshop is for the end of the action plan or those who want it to be around the visual in the action design. The central question is: How can we make actions so that our messages are insurmountable, we can't be easily stamped as chaots or simply can't be ignored too easily? Surprisingly relevant (and still too often forgotten) is the role of visual appearance — so the composition, coloring and small aesthetic details of our protests. In the workshop we would like to exchange ideas and work out key principles and approaches for visual action design.

Praxistools – Smartphone sicherer machen. Wie klappt’s ohne Stress?Unsere Handys und Apps bekommen sehr viel aus unserem Leben mit. Manchmal ganz schön gruselig und sich dagegen zu wehren ist für viele schnell überfordernd. Das muss nicht so sein – im Workshop schauen wir uns an, wie die ersten Schritte zu einem sichereren Smartphone aussehen können. Egal ob es dir um Datensparsamkeit, besserer Schutz vor Stalking, Vorbereitungen zu direkten Aktionen oder einfach um allgemeine Tipps geht.
Kai ist Freie*r Mitarbeiter*in in der Werkstatt. Kai ist weiß positioniert, nicht binär, queer und kommt aus einer Akademiker*innen Familie. Mensch hat eine unsichtbare Behinderung und ist auf dem Land in Westdeutschland aufgewachsen.

Moving: Online Lecture on Western Sahara

Current struggles – Report of an activist from Western Sahara
For 50 years, Western Sahara has been illegally through the Moroccan
State occupied. The Sahrauis from there have been living in part since then
under occupation, partly in refugee camps in Algeria and partly in
international diaspora. They continue to fight for their independence and
return to Western Sahara. With the recent decision of the
UN Security Council, plan Marrokos against the interests of Sahrauis
to support, the topic is still highly topical.- Buhari Lehbib (er/ihn) (initiated for his sister Emma Lehbib) is a Saharawi activist and is committed to the right to self-determination of his people and to the exploitation of resources and infrastructure projects. He studied politics and law in Bremen and was part of the new Zine "Objections" involved in the miraculous struggle.

Reading 'Consult now' Sara Fromm on 05.11. as guest in Heidelberg
Climate crisis, Right jockey.. If a crisis chases the next, only one thing is left: uncertainty.
But what if we instead take the path of self-empowerment?
Sara Fromm shows in her book, which has been published in the Löwenzahn Verlag, how we can get into action and get back confidence. Their examples of how protest and commitment can look for climate justice make courage.
Because if we don't change anything, nothing changes.
Sara Fromm has been active in climate justice since 2018. Since 2020, she has also been working to support others in the self-approved protest: only at the "Werkstatt für Violent Action" and now as a campaigner at "Stay Grounded".
